The UNITAFRICA Conference in Messina (11–13 December 2025) explores the protection of the right to quality higher education in international law. Promoted by the UNITAFRICA project, which brings together Italian and African universities, the initiative promotes academic dialogue on educational justice, gender equality and cooperation for sustainable development. Scholars and researchers will analyse tools, challenges and perspectives to ensure equitable and inclusive access to university education, which is recognized as a fundamental human right and a driver of social progress. The conference aims to strengthen ties between Italy and Africa in a context of mutual learning.
